Be part of a Halloween no one will ever forget at one of Bristol's most creative venues.
Wake The Tiger in Bristol is teaming up with Lost Track Of Time for three nights of Halloween mischief - Thursday 29th, Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October - and we need five performers ready to become pigeons. Not just any pigeons. Party Pigeons who can direct mini games with commitment and comic precision, then spread their wings to become troublemakers causing havoc amidst the party.
We're looking for performers who thrive when improvising with a live audience - strong physical characterisation and confident improv that holds its own under a lightweight pigeon headpiece.
Everyone is welcome here, all ethnicities, genders and ages (18+), the only real requirement is that you're up for the physical demands of the role: full costume, a lot of time on your feet, and movement-led performance from start to finish.
WHEN
Thursday 29th October - 18:00 to 02:00
Friday 30th & Saturday 31st October - 20:00 to 04:00
Each shift includes rehearsal, briefing and performance.
LOOKING AFTER OUR FLOCK
This is a no-touch performance role - there is no physical contact with the audience.
A member of the Wake The Tiger team will be your on-site person throughout the night, for anything you need.
You'll have a private space to change and stash your things, and breaks throughout the evening.
COSTUME
We'll provide the pigeon head, but the party outfit is yours to create. It's Halloween, so lean into it - sexy ghosts, sexy pumpkins, the ever-reliable sexy cat, or your own spin on the theme.
ON YOUR FEET
Bring your own shoes you can comfortably move in as Party Pigeon.
THE FEE
£200 per day, paid on a self-employed basis.
